CALL FOR SOFTWARE PRELIMINARY RESULTS ON SOFTWARE QUALITY TRACK PAPERS

SBQS 2019: 18th Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality

October 28th to November 1st 2019 – Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil

SBQS

The Brazilian Software Quality Symposium (SBQS) is the main Brazilian forum dedicated to Software Quality. The quality of software is manifested in two complementary and dependent aspects: Process Quality and Product Quality. With the current heavy reliance on software and aggregated services, research into software quality and its application in products and services is both a necessity and a differential to provide value to organizations and their businesses.
Since its inception, the SBQS has been instrumental in sharing experiences between the academy and industry, where researchers, educators, and the Software Quality and Software Engineering practice community meet to present and discuss ideas, experiences, and discoveries with a view to to innovation with the potential to positively influence the software industry. The SBQS 2019 will have 4 tracks: Technical Work Track, Experience Report Track, Software Quality Education Track and Preliminary Results Track.

Aim and Scope

This year, for the first time, the SBQS includes a Preliminary Results Trail. The main purpose of this trail is to communicate to the Software Quality community new ideas and preliminary results of ongoing research. Thus, the trail is interested in contributions that present innovative and promising ideas and research in the early stages. It is important that in addition to describing the ideas and results themselves, articles submitted to this trail also clearly present the objectives that the research seeks to achieve, what is planned to achieve to achieve those objectives and what are the expected results with the continuity of the research .
