Full professor of COPPE / UFRJ, researcher in the area of Software Engineering, guided more than 100 theses and dissertations in the area of Software Quality. Graduated in Mathematics from UFRJ, with master's and doctorate degree from PUC-RIO. In 2010, she was awarded the Anita Borg International Award for Change Agents (USA) for her role as developer of the potential of women in technology. He was responsible for defining the process improvement model MR-MPS-SW, currently with more than 700 companies evaluated. She works with process improvement based on multi-models, having been the creator of the QPS model for Software Product Quality.



Investment-Oriented Process Improvement

Many organizations fail to realize the benefits of a Process Improvement Program. They often realize the effort and costs, but not the benefits. This is often one of the causes of the abandonment of the Improvement Program. This lecture will present a multi-model approach to address this problem and guide the Process Improvement Program to solving the organization's critical issues and achieving the expected benefits.

Director of Acreditte-Leadership and Performance, created in 2012 and specialized in the area of People Management with emphasis on Training and Professional and Managerial Development. Coordinator of the Executive Education Programs and Leadership of the Business School of PUCPR in-company for multinational companies, public and mixed economy organizations. Speaker and Mediator of TalkShows, at the national level, for corporate audiences, academics, entrepreneurs and leaders. Facilitator for developing groups and organizations in the process of change and conflict management.



 Why is it so "hard" to be "soft" when the chat is training professionals for the 4.0 industry? A matter of mindset!

It is a fact that the world we live in is undergoing profound and radical changes in the most diverse spheres of social life. There is a significant displacement of the "gravitational axis" of processes that were certain, linear, predictable, and definitive for the Uncertain, Complex, Unpredictable, and Provisional. Accompanying this movement requires mobilization of soft skills that can be strongly developed during vocational training. However, it is not simple to change a historically oriented mindset to what is hard. Where to start? Let's start by reflecting on why and how to be "High touch" in an increasingly high world "High tech?


Professor at UFAM, Graduated from UFPA, Master from UFMG, PhD from COPPE / UFRJ.
She completed his Ph.D. in 2009 and has since completed the orientation of 22 Master's Dissertations and 5 PhD Theses in Computing. She is the author of more than 200 articles published in conferences and periodicals. Served as a member of the program committee and reviewer of several national and international conferences, as well as periodicals. Participated in more than 40 master's degrees and more than 20 doctoral stalls. She is a research productivity fellow and intends to continue improving her research career. 



 To enter the game - a conversation with who really wants to be a researcher

Not everyone who finishes a doctorate becomes an active researcher. Sometimes this happens not because one does not want to act more strongly in research, but because one does not always know what to do (and what to avoid). This conversation is aimed at the young doctors, doctoral students and masters who really want to become active researchers. The goal is to discuss how to develop a researcher's career and present some tips on what to do, not do, as a researcher.
